First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tested a device called the BlueLeaf System to see if it could safely restore valve function in leg veins of people with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI). Fourteen participants with moderate to severe CVI who had not improved with compression stockings were enrolled. The main goals were to measure changes in vein reflux (backward blood flow) and check for blood clots at 30 days after the procedure.
