Blue light surgery trial aims to reduce bladder Cancer's return

NCT ID NCT06525571

Summary

This study is testing if using a special blue light during bladder cancer surgery helps doctors see and remove more of the cancer compared to the standard white light. Researchers want to see if this leads to less cancer left behind and a lower chance of the cancer coming back. About 200 adults with a specific type of high-risk bladder cancer will be randomly assigned to have surgery with either the blue light or the white light.
