Summary
This study is testing whether exposure to a special bright blue light can help the body's immune system fight serious infections. It involves 144 adults hospitalized for conditions like pneumonia, severe abdominal infections, or infected joints. Participants are randomly assigned to use the blue light or standard hospital lighting for three days to see if it reduces harmful inflammation and organ problems.
