New device aims to reduce skin death after breast reconstruction

Summary

This study tests a device called BLOOM43 that women use the night before breast reconstruction surgery. The goal is to see if it helps prevent skin death (necrosis) and is easy to use. Sixty adult women having immediate reconstruction after mastectomy will participate. The study focuses on safety, user experience, and how well the device works.
