Summary
This study aimed to understand if a person's blood type makes them more likely to have severe asthma attacks triggered by viruses like the common cold. Researchers compared 126 people with asthma, some who had been hospitalized for attacks and others who had not. They collected samples to check for viruses and analyze genetic factors related to blood type.
