Summary
This study aims to understand how often blood-thinning medications are prescribed to patients receiving end-of-life (palliative) care. It will observe 410 hospitalized adults who have been referred for this type of care. The goal is to describe current medical practices, as there are no standard guidelines for using these drugs at the end of life.
