Summary
This study directly compared two common blood thinners, apixaban and rivaroxaban, to see which causes fewer serious bleeding problems when treating dangerous blood clots in the legs or lungs. Over 2,700 adults with newly diagnosed clots participated in this real-world trial. Researchers aimed to provide clear safety information to help doctors and patients choose the best medication.
