Blood test could signal safe time to halt cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT06146920

Summary

This study is testing if a blood test that looks for tiny pieces of cancer DNA can help doctors decide when it might be safe for patients to stop their immunotherapy. It involves 39 people with advanced melanoma or non-small cell lung cancer whose cancer is under control after at least a year of treatment. The main goal is to see if patients who test negative on this blood test can safely stop therapy without their cancer coming back within a year.
