Blood test could tell doctors if rectal cancer treatment is working
NCT ID NCT07393048
Summary
This study aims to see if a personalized blood test can predict how well pre-surgery treatment works for patients with locally advanced rectal cancer. Researchers will collect blood and tissue samples from 60 patients at different times during their treatment. They will use this information to build a model that may help doctors know sooner if the treatment is effective.
