Simple blood test could flag At-Risk hip fracture patients
NCT ID NCT07350785
Summary
This study aims to find out if a simple blood test can help predict which elderly patients are at higher risk for serious complications or death after hip fracture surgery. Researchers will follow 100 patients aged 65+ to see if a blood marker called MDW, measured during routine care, is linked to their recovery. The goal is to identify high-risk patients earlier so doctors can provide closer monitoring and better care.
