Simple blood test could spare thousands unnecessary chemo
NCT ID NCT03637686
Summary
This study is testing a blood test that looks for tiny bits of cancer DNA after surgery for colon or rectal cancer. The goal is to see if this test can accurately predict whose cancer is likely to come back. If successful, it could help doctors give extra chemotherapy only to the patients who truly need it, sparing others from harsh side effects.
