Blood holds clues to Cancer's return

NCT ID NCT02556281

Summary

This study aimed to find out if two different types of blood tests could predict whether colon cancer would come back after surgery. Researchers followed 216 patients who had their cancer surgically removed. They compared tests that look for tiny pieces of cancer DNA versus whole cancer cells in the blood to see which was a better warning sign.
