Summary
This study aims to develop a blood test to predict which cancer patients are most likely to develop dangerous blood clots during chemotherapy. Researchers will track 380 patients with lung, ovarian, pancreatic, or stomach cancer, taking blood samples at four points during their treatment to measure clotting biomarkers. The goal is to identify high-risk patients so doctors can better decide who might benefit from preventive blood thinners.
