Scientists track blood clot clues over time
NCT ID NCT01559207
Summary
This study aimed to understand how two potential blood markers for dangerous blood clots (venous thromboembolism) change over time. Researchers measured these markers monthly for six months in 15 healthy volunteers and 15 people with a history of blood clots. The goal was to see if these markers are reliable and differ between healthy people and those who have had clots.
