Tracking Cancer's shadow in the bloodstream

NCT ID NCT04696744

Summary

This study aimed to see if tracking cancer cells in the blood could help doctors better monitor patients with throat cancer. Researchers tested blood samples from 12 patients at different points in their treatment to see if changes in these cells could predict how well treatment was working or if the cancer was returning early. The goal was to gather information to improve future patient follow-up, not to provide a direct treatment benefit to participants.
