Blood test could replace risky tumor biopsies for sarcoma patients

NCT ID NCT03896620

Summary

This study is testing whether a simple blood test can detect sarcoma DNA, which could help doctors diagnose and monitor the disease without needing repeated tumor biopsies. Researchers will collect blood samples from 50 sarcoma patients at different stages of treatment to look for tumor DNA markers. The goal is to find less invasive ways to track how patients respond to therapy and predict future treatment success.
