Summary

This study aims to develop a simple blood test to diagnose inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Researchers will measure two specific genetic markers in the blood of 62 newly diagnosed patients to see if they can accurately identify IBD. The goal is to find a less invasive alternative to current diagnostic procedures like colonoscopies and biopsies.
