Simple blood test could revolutionize cancer monitoring
NCT ID NCT04530890
Summary
This study aims to see if tracking tiny pieces of tumor DNA and other markers in the blood can help doctors better understand and monitor breast, digestive, and gynecologic cancers. Researchers will follow 1,000 patients to see if these blood tests can predict how well treatments are working, when cancer might return, and overall patient survival. The goal is to gather evidence to improve how cancer is managed using less invasive methods than traditional biopsies.
