Scientists seek blood clues to stop cancer treatment bleeding

NCT ID NCT06824727

Summary

This study collected a single blood sample from 40 adult cancer patients with very low platelet counts. The goal was to provide fresh blood for lab testing of a potential future artificial platelet product. This research aims to help develop treatments that could reduce bleeding risks and the need for donor platelet transfusions in the future.
