New study tests Long-Term blood pressure control in 1,000 seniors
NCT ID NCT07174622
Summary
This study aims to see if a medical procedure called renal denervation, when added to standard blood pressure medications, provides better long-term blood pressure control for Medicare patients. Researchers will compare health records from about 1,000 patients who received the procedure plus standard care to similar patients who received standard care alone. The goal is to understand real-world effectiveness in lowering blood pressure and reducing heart-related problems over two years.
