Summary
This study tested a new team-based approach in primary care clinics to help patients who struggle to take their blood pressure medication as prescribed. It involved over 1,700 patients across 10 NYU clinics. The goal was to see if better support from doctors, nurses, and medical assistants could improve medication use and lower blood pressure.
