Heart surgery blood pressure drops linked to dangerous recovery problems
NCT ID NCT07324694
Summary
This study aims to understand how drops in blood pressure during heart surgery affect patients' recovery. Researchers will follow 230 adults having planned heart surgery to see if low blood pressure during the operation leads to serious complications like kidney problems, confusion, stroke, or death within 30 days. The goal is to find better blood pressure targets during surgery to help patients recover more safely.
