Scientists probe hormone link to dangerous blood pressure swings in dialysis

NCT ID NCT07438925

Summary

This study aims to understand if a hormone called vasopressin is connected to blood pressure changes that happen during dialysis. Researchers will look at blood samples and blood pressure records from 71 patients on long-term dialysis. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help explain why some patients experience unstable blood pressure during treatment.
