Can a coach and a worksheet slow kidney disease?

NCT ID NCT04087798

Summary

This study tested whether a personalized educational worksheet and follow-up phone coaching could help people with chronic kidney disease (CKD) better manage their high blood pressure. 320 participants with moderate to severe CKD and uncontrolled blood pressure were assigned to receive either standard information or the personalized coaching program. The main goal was to see if the coaching group achieved greater improvements in blood pressure and other health measures over one year.
