NCT ID NCT06287580
Summary
This study looked at how common blood pressure medications affect blood flow to the brain and thinking skills in older adults. Researchers gave 27 older adults with high blood pressure either a real medication or a placebo for 1-2 weeks. They measured brain blood flow, nerve activity, and cognitive performance before and after treatment to see if the drugs helped or hurt brain health.
