Can tighter blood pressure control save brains from silent aneurysms?
NCT ID NCT05941377
Summary
This study aims to find out if lowering blood pressure more aggressively is better than standard control at preventing small, unruptured brain aneurysms from growing or bursting. It will involve 570 Chinese adults with high blood pressure and a small, stable brain aneurysm. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either standard or enhanced blood pressure lowering treatment and followed for two years to see which approach is safer and more effective.
