First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at adults with type 1 diabetes who use do-it-yourself automated insulin delivery systems. It tested three different blood sugar targets (8.3, 8.8, and 9.3 mmol/L) set one hour before moderate exercise to see which one caused the smallest drop in blood sugar during activity. The goal was to help prevent low blood sugar during and after exercise. The study was terminated early with only 6 participants enrolled.
