Tight leg cuffs may keep soccer passes on target during fatigue
NCT ID NCT07496944
First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tested whether wearing pressurized cuffs on the legs during small-sided soccer games helps players keep their passing and dribbling skills accurate when they are tired. Forty young male soccer players trained for 6 weeks, with one group wearing pressurized cuffs and the other wearing cuffs with no pressure. Before and after the training, researchers measured passing and dribbling performance both before and after a tiring 45-minute exercise routine to see which group lost less skill.
