Could a lower dose of blood cancer drugs be just as effective?

NCT ID NCT07474961

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This trial is for adults with multiple myeloma or Waldenstrom macroglobulinaemia. It tests whether giving certain drugs less often can control the disease as well as the standard schedule. The goal is to find the best balance between effectiveness and quality of life. About 400 people will take part across multiple hospitals.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
teclistamab, talquetamab, elranatamab, linvoseltamab, ibrutinib, zanubrutinib
What this could lead to
If successful, this could show that less frequent dosing of these drugs controls blood cancers just as well, reducing side effects and treatment burden.
What could go wrong
This is a Phase 4 trial that hasn't started recruiting yet. It's testing dose changes, not a new cure, and results may not apply to all patients.
