Summary
This study collected one blood sample from 40 adults with very low platelets (30,000/mcl or less) due to blood cancers or their treatment. The goal was to gather samples for research, not to provide treatment. Participants could not have had chemotherapy in the last 24 hours or blood thinners in the last 48 hours.
