New device tested to break up dangerous lung clots

Summary
This study compares two treatments for serious lung blood clots (pulmonary embolism). Researchers want to see if adding a special ultrasound device to standard blood thinners works better than blood thinners alone. The device delivers clot-dissolving medicine directly to the clot. The study will check which treatment better prevents death and other serious complications in the first week.
