New combo therapy aims to keep clogged veins open

NCT ID NCT04694248

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of two blood-thinning medications can help keep a vein open after a stent is placed. It's for patients who have had a serious leg blood clot and a narrowed iliac vein that required a stent. Researchers want to see if this drug combination prevents the vein from getting blocked again and is safe over 12 months.
