NCT ID NCT05556395

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at whether damage to the brain's protective barrier (the blood-brain barrier) right after a stroke can help predict who will have memory or thinking problems in the next three years. Researchers will follow 150 people who had a stroke, using phone-based memory tests over time. The goal is to better understand why some people develop cognitive decline after a stroke.
