Blood test may predict liver cancer treatment success

NCT ID NCT07414433

First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study is testing whether certain substances in the blood can help doctors predict and monitor how well liver cancer responds to a standard treatment called TACE. About 60 adults with liver cancer will give blood samples before and after TACE, and the results will be compared with CT or MRI scans. The goal is to see if blood tests can reliably show early on whether the treatment is working, potentially reducing the need for frequent imaging.
