NCT ID NCT03819712

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study aims to find blood markers that could identify women at high risk for recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs). Researchers will measure certain immune system signals in blood samples from 109 healthy women aged 18-28, comparing those with a history of one UTI to those with three or more. The goal is to understand why some women get repeat infections, which could lead to better prevention and reduce antibiotic use.
