Eye fluid study sheds light on AMD treatment effects
NCT ID NCT07375901
First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looked at 30 patients with a common eye disease called AMD (age-related macular degeneration) to see how a standard treatment affects the barrier between blood and eye fluid. Researchers measured protein levels in the eye fluid before and during anti-angiogenic therapy. The goal was to better understand how the eye responds to treatment, not to test a new drug.
