Blink test may reveal hidden dry eye clues

NCT ID NCT07499193

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how blinking behavior is linked to the stability of the tear film in adults aged 18 to 65, both with and without dry eye symptoms. Participants will answer a questionnaire, have their vision checked, and undergo non-invasive tear film measurements using an imaging device. They will also complete three types of blink tasks to see if blinking patterns differ between the two groups.
