First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study compared two common blood thinners, rivaroxaban and apixaban, to see which causes less bleeding in people with blood clots. It involved 72 adults with new clots in the legs or lungs. The main goal was to test if a larger study is possible, not to declare a winner.
