New approach to ease agony after kidney stone surgery

Summary
This study is testing whether putting a numbing medication (bupivacaine) into the bladder right after kidney stone surgery can reduce pain and discomfort. Researchers will compare the medication to a saltwater placebo in 116 adults having this common procedure. The main goal is to see if this simple step helps patients feel better and recover more comfortably in the first day after surgery.
