Spinal stimulation offers hope for bladder control after injury

NCT ID NCT02331979

Summary

This UCLA study is testing whether gentle electrical or magnetic stimulation of the spinal cord can help improve bladder function in men with spinal cord injuries. The research aims to see if this non-invasive approach can help people urinate more normally and reduce the need for catheters. Participants will attend twice-weekly sessions for six months while researchers measure changes in urine flow and volume.
