Summary

This study tests whether it's safe to skip placing a bladder catheter during planned cesarean sections. 550 pregnant women who can urinate on their own before surgery will be randomly assigned to either get the catheter or not. The goal is to see if skipping it leads to more women needing a catheter later for urine retention, while also improving comfort.
