New ultrasound aims to spot bladder cancer before the knife
NCT ID NCT06986304
First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026
Summary
This study tests a new type of ultrasound to see if it can find leftover bladder cancer right before surgery. About 30 adults with bladder cancer who are scheduled to have their bladder removed will get this special ultrasound while they are asleep for the operation. The results will be compared to the final lab results to see how accurate the new method is.
