New hope for patients with rare bladder cancer to keep their bladder

NCT ID NCT06417190

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation can effectively treat a rare form of muscle-invasive bladder cancer while allowing patients to keep their bladder. The treatment approach will be given to 20 participants with this specific cancer type and compared to historical data from patients with more common bladder cancer. The main goal is to see if this bladder-preserving strategy is a practical option that can be delivered quickly enough to prevent the cancer from spreading.
