Can simple surgical tweaks get bladder cancer patients home faster?

Summary
This study aims to help bladder cancer patients recover better after major surgery. It will test if using a small urine drainage tube (stent) or a bowel recovery drug (alvimopan) helps patients leave the hospital sooner and reduces infections. About 530 patients will be randomly assigned to receive these standard techniques or not, to see which approach works best.
