Bladder cancer tissue used to test Muscle-Contracting drugs
NCT ID NCT07545694
First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at how certain drugs that affect the body's natural endocannabinoid system change the way bladder muscle contracts. Researchers will collect a small piece of healthy-looking bladder tissue from 65 adults having bladder cancer surgery. In the lab, they will test how these drugs alter muscle activity. The goal is to better understand bladder function, not to treat the cancer directly.
