First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study is testing a new, non-invasive urine test that looks for a protein called CREPT in cells shed from the bladder. The goal is to see if this test can accurately detect bladder cancer early and monitor for its return after treatment, without needing a painful scope procedure. Researchers will enroll 250 people with or suspected of having bladder cancer, as well as those with benign bladder conditions, to check how well the test works.
