Scientists test cancer drug on bladder tumors before surgery

Summary

This study is testing a cancer drug called abemaciclib in bladder cancer patients who cannot receive standard chemotherapy. Twenty participants will take the drug for about a month before having their bladder surgically removed. Researchers will compare tumor samples taken before and after drug treatment to understand how the medication affects cancer cells.
