Bladder cancer treatment showdown: which chemo works better?

NCT ID NCT01812369

Summary

This study compared two different chemotherapy combinations for people with advanced bladder cancer who need treatment before or after bladder removal surgery. Researchers tested whether a more intensive four-drug combination (HD-MVAC) works better than the standard two-drug combination (GC) at keeping cancer from returning. The trial involved 500 participants and measured how long patients remained cancer-free after treatment.
