Tiny bugs in kids' bladders may hold clues to wetting accidents
NCT ID NCT07535619
First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated Apr 22, 2026
Summary
This study looks at bacteria found in urine, the genital area, and stool of children ages 5-17 who have overactive bladder or daytime wetting, and compares them to healthy children. Researchers want to see if the types of bacteria are different and if they change with treatment or as children grow. The study does not test any new treatment—it only collects samples to learn more.
