Ancient black seed put to modern test in childhood asthma
NCT ID NCT07315555
Summary
This study is testing whether adding Nigella sativa (black seed) capsules to standard asthma medications helps children aged 6-18 with moderate asthma breathe better. Researchers will measure asthma control and lung function in 90 children to see if the herbal supplement improves their symptoms. The goal is to see if this traditional remedy can work alongside modern inhalers to better manage the condition.
